Mark Metzeling is a qualified solicitor who has a Masters of Intellectual Property Laws, a Masters of Laws and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Biochemistry). Mark has never lost a contested matter, he is an expert in brand protection and securing trade mark rights.

Mark Metzeling is the Head of Trade Marks at IP Gateway, named Corporate INTL’s Boutique Trade Mark Law Firm of the Year in Australia for 2017.  Mark has been appointed to the Trade Marks Standing Committee of AIPPI (The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property) due to his distinguished knowledge and experience across all areas of Trade Mark law.

Accomplished in all areas of Trade Mark law, Mark advises on the searching, availability and registrability of new trade marks. He is dedicated to securing registration of Australian, New Zealand and international trade mark applications. He has significant experience in policing and enforcing trade mark rights, both nationally and internationally.

Mark has been a long-serving member of executive committees and company boards, and a small business owner.  Mark understands what drives business, he provides clients with practical advice tailored specifically to meet their commercial needs.  His capacity to simplify complex and technical matters, allows him to generate meaningful advice.
